this video kinda reminds me of my aunt who has DID and is very attached to a teddy bear, and has to explain a lot. She coddles him and such, and needs to explain lots, but beyond that is extremely normal. But he’s real to her.

If you bear that in mind and think about the lyrics again, it starts to make sense.

Besides, people’s imaginary friend come in every form imaginable.
If you think hers was wierd, mine was a 30 year old asian blind man who I had to describe stuff to.

it is that when she was a gel she had an imaginary skeleton friend, and now she’s 22 she still has him, and it gets awkward when she’s on a date and she’s all like “shut up skeleton!” and everyone looks at her funny and she’s like “dangit skeleton!”
