This trailer is a “fake” or fan made (if you will) trailer that may or may not be on the cards in the future. (Depending on time, budget and other people) The effects were made using after effects. I used video co-pilot for help through most of it as I am still really new to doing my own effects. This is the product of HOURS!! or editing and tweeking. The last scene was taken from a piece of footage previously edited for me by another YouTuber that I hadn’t gotten round to using. Thanks to TheEmerce of YouTube for that. The rest are scenes from short films and stills that have been overhauled using after effects. Hope you enjoy!

A breakdown of how I did the shots for my ‘official’ doctor who trailer that fooled a few people. Each character was photoshopped into a different BG. Usually 3 layers in different ‘Z’ spaces. In After Effects, I would position the three (or two) elements and animate a camera movement. Then add about 4-5 liquify filters for each part of the face I would mask around the eyes and create a separate layer for them to animate. And finally the Puppet feature and Starch tool to animate the neck. Music from Doctor Who at the Proms
